Oxy Bone
Oxy Bone
Exclusive process of deantigenation
The bone substitutes are obtained from equine bone tissue through an exclusive biochemical process of enzymatic deantigenation. The use of enzymes, natural proteins capable of operating at controlled temperatures, allows to completely eliminate the antigenic component of the tissue, with no alteration of the mineral component. The mineral phase of bone, not modified, is recognised as endogenous by osteoclasts. The bone substitute, accordingly, undergoes a process of total remodelling so to be completely replaced, in physiological times, by the endogenous bone. The best condition for the placement of osseointegrated implants.
OXY BONE CANCELLOUS – OXY BONE MIX
Oxy Bone granules are a substitute bone based on the total osteoclastic remodelling.
Characteristics:
- usable for any type of bone defect
- partially denatured collagen
- cancellous or mix (50% cortical 50% cancellous)
- 1-2 minutes hydration with sterile saline solution or blood
- Perfect hydrophilicity: excellent handling
Clinical applications:
- bone defects of contained dimensions and more walls defects (cancellous or mix)
- bone defects of greater dimensions and a reduced number of wall defects (cortical or mix)
Time of remodelling:
- 4 – 6 months (cancellous)
- 8 – 12 months (cortical)
OXY BONE MIX GRANULES GEL
Oxy Bone Mix Granules Gel is a mixture consisting of cortical-cancellous granules and aqueous base gel.
Characteristics:
- extreme practicability and ease of use
- direct application in the graft site
- suitable for each type of defect
- intraoperative times reduction: less risk of microbial contamination
Clinical applications:
- suitable for each type of defect
- excellent for maxillary sinus lifting
- excellent for periodontal defects
Time of remodelling:
- 4 – 6 months (cancellous)
- 8 – 12 months (cortical)
